Virginia – Fleet Park LL pulled away for good with two runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth John Allen Stilwell doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.
Derek Baker was on the pitcher’s mound for Virginia – Fleet Park LL. The bulldog allowed two hits and two runs over three innings, striking out five.
Matthew Whittle toed the rubber for Florida – North Springs LL. The pitcher surrendered one run on two hits over two and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking one. Erick Torres and Payton Jay entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two and a third innings and one inning respectively.
Stilwell led Virginia – Fleet Park LL with two hits in three at bats.
Florida – North Springs LL was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Mickey Case had the most chances in the field with seven.
