Florida – Land O’Lakes Little League jumped out to an early lead over Georgia – Martinez-Evans Little League and took home a 5-2 victory on Saturday. Florida – Land O’Lakes Little League scored on a home run by Damian Lampe in the first inning and a error in the second inning.

Florida – Land O’Lakes Little League pulled away for good with two runs in the second inning. In the second Logan Larscheid laid down a sacrifice bunt, scoring one run and an error scored one run for Florida – Land O’Lakes Little League.

Cade Knouse was the winning pitcher for Florida – Land O’Lakes Little League. He lasted four and two-thirds innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out seven. Hayden Woods threw two and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen. Woods recorded the last seven outs to earn the save for Florida – Land O’Lakes Little League.

Cole Corcoran took the loss for Georgia – Martinez-Evans Little League. He went two and two-thirds innings, allowing three runs on three hits and striking out three.

Florida – Land O’Lakes Little League hit one home run on the day. Lampe had a homer in the first inning.

Lampe, Devin Canter, and Luis Nunez all had one hit to lead Florida – Land O’Lakes Little League.
